    About Camera Loyalty Program

    Camera Cinemas Loyalty Program is a limited time* membership card offered exclusively for the Camera Cinemas’ customers. Earn reward points by simply purchasing** admission tickets at the box office, food and drinks at the concession stand, and by completing a short survey at the marked Kiosks located throughout the theater lobby.

    To participate in this program, follow the simple instruction below;

    1. Go to registration page to register and receive your card at the participating Camera Cinemas location of your choice. You will earn 5 points just for registering!
    2. Simply present your card when purchasing movie tickets, food, and drinks to earn and store points on to the loyalty card. You can also earn points by tapping your card at the Kiosk and participating in the short survey.
    3. To check your accumulated points, visit the Kiosk located in the theater lobby of Camera Cinemas.
    4. To redeem your points, simply select and print from the available reward coupons at the Kiosks located in the theater lobby of Camera Cinemas.

    *This program is offered for a limited time only;

    • Last day to earn reward points for printed coupon is January 31st, 2010.

    • Last day to redeem printed coupon is February 28th, 2010.

    **Points Accumulation Limitation;

    • 25 points maximum per day.

    • 500 points maximum per card at any given time.

    • Only one survey per day.

    How to earn and redeem points?

    How to earn points?
    If you already have a Camera Cinemas Loyalty Card, you can earn points by simply purchasing movie tickets, food & drinks, and participating in a short survey at the Kiosk located in the lobby of the theater. The amount of points you can earn are as follows:

    Registration -- 5 points (Pre-loaded on the card)
    Each ticket purchased at box office -- 2 points
    Each separate and discrete concession transaction from $.01-$9.99 -- 2 points
    Each separate and discrete concession transaction from $10.00-$19.99 -- 5 points
    Each separate and discrete concession transaction over $20.00 -- 10 points
    Each survey taken at Kiosk -- 2 points (Limit once per card per day)

    How to redeem points?
    Once you have enough points, you can redeem your points by printing your reward coupon at the Kiosk located in the in theater lobby. Here are the points necessary to receive various coupons:

    1 large soda -- 20 points
    1 large popcorn -- 20 points
    1 large candy -- 20 points
    1 Medium True Romance combo pack -- 40 points
    1 Major League combo pack -- 40 points
    Free admission ticket -- 50 points
    (good Sunday through Thursday, not valid for special events)
    $10 off on purchases at the Sony Style Store in Santa Clara Valley Fair -- 50 points

    What is FeliCa Technology?

    FeliCa is a contactless IC card technology developed by Sony. As the name stemming from the word "felicity" suggests, the system was born to make daily living easier and more convenient. The card is difficult to forge/reconstruct, and allows companies to send and receive data at high speeds and with high security. The system is also environmentally-friendly since the card can be reused repeatedly by rewriting the data. It also features ultimate user-ease, as would be expected from a contactless card, since there is no longer any need to retrieve and put away the card for every use. All-in-all, the system is very efficient, since one card can be used for various purposes.

    For Camera Cinemas Loyalty Program, FeliCa technology allows our patrons to retain points earned on the card with convenience, speed and a high level of security.

    IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

    1.Terms and Conditions for the Camera Cinemas’ Loyalty Card pilot program.

    This document constitutes the agreement (“Agreement”) outlining the terms and conditions under which a Camera Cinemas’ Loyalty Card has been issued to you. By accepting and using this card, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. In this Agreement, "Card" means the Camera Cinemas’ Loyalty Card issued to you by Camera Cinemas and serviced by Sony Electronics Inc. "You" and "your" means the person or persons who have received the Card and are authorized to use the Card as provided for in this Agreement. "We," "us," and "our" mean Camera Cinemas Inc., our successors, affiliates, assignees and service providers. The Card will remain the property of Camera Cinemas Inc. and must be surrendered upon demand. THE CARD IS NON-TRANSFERABLE, and it may be canceled, repossessed, or revoked at any time without prior notice subject to applicable law. The last day that you may make a purchase transaction and acquire coupon with your Card is 12/16/09. THE POINTS ON YOUR CARD WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE TRIAL, 12/16/09, AFTER WHICH TIME YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY REMAINING BALANCE ON YOUR CARD. The redemption deadline of the printed coupon is 12/31/09.

    Please read this Agreement carefully and keep it for future reference.

    2.The Card

    The Card is a reloadable loyalty card. The Card allows you to access points you load and accumulate onto the Card for use at participating trial locations. The Card is not a credit card, debit card or gift certificate, therefore does not have any cash value and no cash will be given. The minimum age limit to participate in the loyalty card program is 14 years or older.

    3.Your Responsibility

    You are responsible for all transactions made and fees incurred, if any, by anyone using this Card. You are wholly responsible for the use of each Card according to the terms of this Agreement.

    4.Loading Your Card

    You may add points to your Card at any time during business hours at the Box Office or Concessions counter at any participating Loyalty Card trial location by making qualifying purchases. During enrollment, you will receive one Card preloaded with initial load of 5 points. The amount of each subsequent point load will depend on the purchase amount. For each ticket purchased, you are qualified to receive 2 points. For each separate and discrete concessions purchase of $.01 to $9.99 and $10.00 to $19.99, you will receive 2 and 5 points, respectively. Any concessions purchase over $20.00, you will receive 10 points. Furthermore, each survey completed at the available kiosk, you will receive 2 points. However, the maximum daily points you may earn and load on your Card is restricted to 25 points. The maximum points allowed on your Card during the course of the trial is 500 points. You agree to present the Card and meet identification requirements to complete point load operations as may be required by us, or by law, from time to time. The last day you will be able to load points to your Card and print coupon is 12/16/09.

    5.Using Your Card

    You are responsible for all Card transactions initiated by use of your Card. If someone other than you uses your Card, you will still be responsible for any transactions made on your Card.

    The points on your Card are not redeemable for cash, nor will they be replaced if the card is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, or used without your permission except as otherwise required by law. You should keep track of the amount of points loaded on your Card. You can check your Card balance at any Loyalty Card kiosk or at the Box Office and Concessions counter at any participating Loyalty Card trial location during business hours. Each time you use your Card to redeem points, you authorize us to reduce the points available on your Card by the amount of the transaction. All redeemed rewards are the property of Camera Cinemas. Loyalty Card rewards are subject to verification by Camera Cinemas’ management. Offers are void if rewards are illegible, altered or mutilated. The judgment of Camera Cinemas’ management is final.

    6.Participating Trial Locations

    The Loyalty Card may only be used for making purchases to earn and loading points at the following participating Camera Cinemas locations:

    (1) Camera 12 201 South Second Street, San Jose, CA 95113

    (2) Camera 71875 S.Bascom Avenue, Campbell, CA 95008

    (3) Los Gatos – 41 North Santa Cruz Avenue, Los Gatos, CA 95030

    We reserve the right to add or remove participating locations at any time without prior notice.

    7.Returns and Refunds

    Please be aware of the merchant’s return policies prior to completing the transaction. No returns or refunds in cash are allowed with respect to items purchased using redemption of earned points. No points will be reloaded back onto your Card and no transaction made on your Card will be voided.




    8.Coupons

    Upon usage of the points on your Card you will receive a coupon that documents the value of the points redeemed.

    9.Fees and Charges

    We currently do not charge any fees in connection with the use of your Card. We reserve the right, subsequent to written notice, to charge fees in the future where they are legally permitted.

    10.Customer Service

    You may contact us at the website listed below to inquire about the Card and the Loyalty Card trial. Contact us via the Internet at www.cameracinemas.com.

    11.Data Protection and Privacy

    We may disclose information to third parties about you, your Card or the transactions you make with your Card as follows:

    (1) Where it is necessary for completing transactions;

    (2) In order to verify the existence and condition of your Card for our own information or for a third party, such as a participating merchant or service provider;

    (3) In order to comply with government agency, court order, or as otherwise required by law;

    (4) If you give us your permission or in fulfilling a request made by you;

    (5) For marketing purposes, to provide you with information about products, services and promotions which we believe will be of interest to you, and to conduct market research and analysis;

    (6) To our employees, auditors, affiliates, service providers, or attorneys as needed;

    (7) To prevent fraud or for regulatory compliance;

    (8) In connection with a proposed or actual sale or transfer of our rights under this Agreement;

    (9) If required to protect or enforce our legal rights; or

    (10) As otherwise permitted by law.


    Information Security: We take reasonable efforts to maintain physical, electronic and procedural security measures to safeguard your personal information.


    12.No Warranty of Availability or Uninterrupted Use; No Liability for Failure to Complete Transactions

    From time to time, the Card service may become inoperative, and if this occurs, you may be unable to use your Card or obtain information about your balance. You agree that we are not responsible for any interruption of service. In no event will we be liable for consequential damages (including lost profits), extraordinary damages, special, incidental or punitive damages arising in connection with your use of the Card. We will not be liable, for instance:

    (1) If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough points available on your Card to complete the transaction;

    (2) If an electronic terminal where you are making a transaction does not operate properly, and you knew about the problem when you initiated the transaction;

    (3) If circumstances beyond our control (such as fire, flood or computer or communication failure) prevent the completion of the transaction;

    (4) If a participating location is unable to accept the Card or process a Card transaction;

    (5) In connection with any other exception stated in this Agreement with you.

    13.Other Terms

    We may transfer our rights under this Agreement. Use of your Card is subject to all applicable rules and customs of any clearinghouse or other association involved in the transactions. We do not waive our rights by delaying or failing to exercise them at anytime. If any provision of this Agreement shall be determined to be invalid or unenforceable under any rule, law, or regulation of any governmental agency, local, state, or federal, the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement shall not be affected. This Agreement will be governed by the law of the State of California except to the extent governed by federal law.

    14.Amendment and Cancellation

    We may amend or change the terms of this Agreement at any time in accordance with applicable law. You will be notified of any changes in the manner provided by applicable law prior to the effective date of the change. If the change is made for security purposes, we may implement such change without prior notice.

    We may cancel or suspend your Card or this Agreement at any time. If we cancel your card prior to the termination of the trial on 12/16/2009, you will still be entitled to redeem the point balance on your Card for qualifying transaction(s) until the expiration of the redemption period on 12/31/2009. You may also cancel this Agreement by returning the Card to us, but in such event, you will forfeit the balance on your Card. Any termination of this Agreement will not affect any of our rights or your obligations arising under this Agreement prior to termination.

    15.Information About Reporting Errors

    You may contact us via the Internet at www.cameracinemas.com if you think your balance inquiry or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transaction listed on the balance inquiry and/or receipt. In such case, please (1) provide your name and Card number; (2) describe the error or the transaction you are unsure about, and explain why you believe it is an error or why you need more information; and (3) provide the point amount of the suspected error.


    16.No Warranty Regarding Goods and Services

    We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any goods or services you purchase with your Card.

      No, each person may only register one card.
    • How do I replace a lost/stolen/damaged card?
      Any current member can have a new card issued if it is lost, stolen, or damaged, however, your points cannot be recovered. Please visit one of our participating theater locations and complete a new registration form. Since the number of cards available for the trial program is limited, we may not be able to issue you a replacement card.
    • Can everyone in my family have a card?
      Yes, every family member 14 years of age or older can have their own card.
    • Can I give my points to others?
      No, the card and the accumulated points are non-transferable.
    • Will my name be given to third parties who will send me special offers?
      NO. We will NEVER release your personal information to any party other than our successors, affiliates, assignees, and service providers, without your permission except for the purposes such as data verification and where required by law.
