The Cameras In The Community
The Camera Cinemas were born in 1975, when Camera One opened its doors on South First Street in downtown San Jose. Home is where the heart is, and we are deeply grateful to the community that embraced our mission, and has made us feel so at home for the past 30 years. The Camera Cinemas seeks to give cultural nourishment back to the community through the sponsorship of school and non-profit events and screenings at its various locations.
Realtors Converge on Camera 12 For Sunday Party
Camera 12 hosted the John V Pinto Realty World's Client Appreciation Event on Sunday, April 30th in downtown San Jose. More than 600 invited guests had the opportunity to chat with representatives from a number of Realty World offices, while being treated to snacks and movies of their choosing. A great time was had by all!
This past December, Camera 12 welcomed more than 200 students from St. Leo The Great School for a showing of The Chronicles of Narnia, based on novels by C.S. Lewis. They were excited to have a “movie day” as a treat for their hard work at school, enjoying popcorn and soda before settling in for the movie.
The Hakone Foundation held a fundraiser at Camera 7 Pruneyard this past December, enjoying a pre-opening screening of Rob Marshall's ravishing epic Memoirs of a Geisha.
