'The Rock' Gets Camera 12 Red Carpet
In a special promotional event for his new film Gridiron Gang, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson spent an evening at Camera 12 Cinema on Sept. 7th, arriving by limousine and walking the red carpet before talking to press and introducing a special screening of the film for The After School All Stars.

Pirates Sail In To Camera 12
Everyone’s favorite pirate and his maties showed up at Camera 12 for several screenings of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest on opening weekend, July 7-8, interacting with patrons, teaching them to speak “pirate” and posing for photos.

'Monster Squad' Event Reunites Cast and Crew
The Camera Cinemas brought a rare 35mm print of the cult classic kids film, The Monster Squad (1987), to downtown San Jose, along with the director and three of the principal cast members, for a memorable reunion and Q&A on Sat, June 10th at Camera 12.
Andre Gower (“Sean” the leader of the Squad), Ryan Lambert (“Rudy” the “Cool Kid”), Ashley Bank (“Phoebe the Feeb”) and director Fred Dekker made appearances after each of the two screenings at 7:00pm and 9:30pm, answering audience questions and signing autographs. This event was the first of its kind on the West Coast.


Formula Racer Calvin Wan Drifts Into Camera 12
To promote opening night of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, as well as the San Jose Grand Prix, we invited Formula Drift racer –- and Tokyo Drift stunt driver –- Calvin Wan to Camera 12 on June 16th for a meet and greet and autograph session. He, along with professional drifter Dan Pina, also had their Drifting cars on display for passers-by to check out.


'Marilyn Hotchkiss' Producer Gives Q&A at Camera 12
Marilyn Hotchkiss’ Ballroom Dancing & Charm School opened an exclusive South Bay engagement at Camera 12 Cinemas on April 22, 2006. We were proud to host Q&A sessions with executive producer Art Klein, to learn more about the behind-the-scenes making of the film.
